Is there any way to change the standard DRL's to LED's? Has anyone done this yet?

Kinda like these:

Is this even possible?

I've tried switchback LEDs and they don't work but amber only should be fine...you just have to add a resistor

:yeah: You'll get the hyperflash using LEDs if you don't install the resistor since the car thinks a bulb is out....

I though about the switch back LED bulbs but I started thinking that it wouldn't work since the original bulb only has one filament used for drl and turn signals. But I was gonna get amber LED bulbs instead.

So are you saying I could put amber only LED's as the DRL & turn signals? (But I would need a resistor?)

I don't care about switching between amber/white. I just think it would cool a lot nicer converting the DRL's/turn signals to LED considering that the rear is all LED too. Doesn't make sense to have one and not the other.

Also i found this!

The lights on the CTS look real nice. I would totally do that.

I'm not a fan but opinions vary.

Both our STS are still just fine with OEM bulbs after a combined 150,000 miles.
