: Runway Enduro Tires

I have the Runway Enduro Tires on my 93 Fleetwood, and love the way they drive and look. I don't drive the Fleetwood much; maybe 4 thousand miles a year, so about 12,000 miles in the last 3 years. They still look and drive like new. But here is my question-my wife's 96 Roadmaster wagon will need tires soon. We drive that car back and forth to Florida twice a year, and she drives it around for errands and such at our house in Pittsburgh. Her car gets about 12-15,000 miles per year use. Has any one put any "real world" miles on these tires? Could I expect to get 40,000 miles out of them if properly cared for? We never drive in snow, so they would be used only for fair weather. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark

Pat (Buickestate) over on the wagon forum has had them on his daily for a couple of years. He still recommends them to others.

I ran Runway Enduros for about 2 years also and I really liked them. Quiet and smooth as long as you drive normal.

Thanks guys for your response. They really made a difference in how my Fleetwood rides. It's good to know that they are more than just a pretty face!

Simpletire.com shows that they sell them, and have them in stock, for about 80 bucks or so per tire. It took some digging to find this place, and I have not dealt with them. I bought the ones for my Fleetwood from the tire barn (I think) but they are no longer showing them on their website.

This one shows them in stock, for the tire size on my car anyway:

The Enduros have a sister-tire called Champiro 75. I've been told they are the same tire with a slightly different sidewall. The whitewall is the same on both tires. Champiro 75s are still being made. And they are wonderful tires! I've had a set on my daily driver '90 Brougham since late 2009, and they are still fine.

has anyone bought a set of these recently? I found them listed on the tireeasy website but they told me that the white wall is now only .25" wide. can anyone confirm?
