Hi everyone! My name is Lydia and I live in LA. I currently have two Cadillac S&S Victoria hearses, a 66 and an 84. The 66 is my baby, though, I named her Dusty (the 84 we named Orwell).

I'm here to mingle and learn things. I'm interested in fixing my own cars, but I'm starting from the ground up. I'm also interested in learning about everything Cadillac related. Here's a photo of the two cars I have. Hearse on hearse action going on!

Jeez guys, you act like you've never seen a Hearse before, or perhaps that it would be MY first time seeing one. You city kids creep me out...

Welcome, Lydia. I believe you will find what you're looking for on this forum. As per Cadillac Knowledge, we have some of the most well-versed people around. As per Hearse knowledge, I think the Forum is nominating myself.

Mechanically speaking, how is the pair doing? Tackling any mechanical issues on these two should not be all that difficult (as they were built the right way, as only older cars are) and any such help you may need with that, you will be able to find over here:

http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/rwd-19xx-1984-deville-fleetwood-1985/

You will also find most of the folk who own older Hearses hang around there more than the lounge, so any of their project or build threads may already contain some of the questions, comments or concerns you may have with your pair.

The best way to learn to do something is to just get in there and do it. So is the case, when one is to learn to work on their own cars.

You Lounge guys must not realize there are a few dozen of us already as regulars, not to mention thosh who only post occasionally. We are one of the most widely represented groups on the Forum, due to the vast variety of Hearses out there and that most Hearse owners are some type of enthusiast, while not every fwd or Northstar or Cadillac owner is.
