i am restoring a 1968 deville soft top that has 34k miles. sat for over 20 years in a tobacco barn. purchased form estate of the original owner.

car is stock with several great options. i am looking for a passenger side mirror as that was not one of the options. does any one have an idea where i may find one?

car has some hail damage from being rolled out at an inopertune time and also some rocjer panel corrosion, but drives like a dream. once the leather is replaced and a new paint job it should be like new.

Sounds like a great project. I don't remember passenger side rear view mirrors even being an option in sixties ..... at least one that would be adjustable from the driver's seat. But I could be mistaken.

the passenger side mirrior is not remote from the driver side. i rememnber these mirriors and you neeeded a 2nd person (or very long arms) to position them. my dad used to have me stand outside the passenger door after we went to the car wash to adjust the mirrior. it bothered him like crazy. by 1970 the mirriors were electric and adjustable from the drivers side.

:welcome: The mirror you're looking for pops up on ebay from time to time. You might also try Cadillacs Only in Ventura, CA.
