: 546 stroker with tbi 7427 ecm and 4l80e

how do i hook up all of these speed sensor wires its going into a 92 cadillac that had 5.7 tbi and 700r4 which wires on 7427 ecm for input and output sensors have to be hooked up and do i have to hook up governor control and how does it work

The TBI computer can't control your 4L80E. Cheapest solution is to get the transmission controller from a Vortec equipped 4l80e trans van (the trans control unit was separate). Not sure on years, but a google search will turn it up. Other than that, your other option is an aftermarket stand alone controller.

Also the diesel had a separate controller.

Here is a copy of a post from another board that could be something to think about..."You'll save a lot of time and money by sending that 7730 ECM to Dynamic EFI and get one of his EBL conversions.
Then you'll be able to program it with a laptop. No more chips. Much, much better. All the Caddy guys on the
GMCMH internet group are going that way." Don't know if they do your ECM

thanks for the info but i already have the 7427 ecm working with the 4l80 trans except no overdrive but i think its just the wiring going to ecm from trans has a bad connection maybe and i already have an ostrich emulator burn1 etc.
