i have a slight humming noise at idle
When I engage the clutch it goes away?
I noticed the noise after the fast 102 was installed but I don't think it's related.
Any thoughts or is it normal, I just can't recall hearing the noise before

]Forgot to mention car has head can package but still running stock flywheel , clutch and slave
I have 15 k on car so looking on suggestions on what is wrong if anything

Where does the hummin sound come from,

Does it come from a speaker, in front of you or from beneath you?

You can only hear it with the hood open

You can only hear it when the engine is warm
No noise at start up and for first5 min of idling
I tried recording it but the sound doesn't show up in the video
If I put my head under the car it almost sounds like its comin from the transmission

Do you have access to HPtuner or EFILive? You may have an air leak, watch the trim and if they are constantly positive like +5 to +10 then i would look at taking the intake off and apart then using silicone instead of their silly seal and then put it back together again...

I did that and never looked back...

Hmm yea I will data log it and send it out .

My fast is sealed with silicon already
And I have sprayed the whole intake down with carb cleaner/ brake cleaner while runing to check for vaccum leaks
I did finally get a video of the noise and will post it up tonight
I was thinking of switching back to a stock intake to see if it goes away
I will run it again and spray more brake cleaner around the seal to see if noise goes away

That sounds pretty normal, the ticking noise is your lifters, and cam, the deep throat rumble is your intake manifold.

You have more volume in your intake so it will make a little more noise.

Get your car tuned up and your loop will go away...

Enjoy your car

Thanks for your replies
yea I still have to log it for final tuning
So you heard the faint hum in the back ground then? Hard to hear over the valve train noise

That's good to hear that it's normal I didn't want to pull it apart again
