Where did u find them?? And would they work on a non hid cts for the Drls?

Pluto3

Found them on ebay, cost is $269 with free shipping. They are plug and play for 08-12 CTS.

They look like they are made for a NON HID cts. Could be wrong but from two round spots for bulbs look like how they are in a non hid car. The factory hid only have one and it handles both the high and low beams.

Seeing that these are plug and play, they should be an easy swap for CTS with or without HID. I found them when I was looking for the HID headlights and these look great on the darker CTS's.

I'm really starting to wonder how the DRLs are gonna work. On the non hid lights, the Drls are a lower power version of the low beams. So.....how is it gonna work out? I guess we will find out soon. They will be here Friday. So Sunday will more than likely be the install date when I have time to drop the bumper and all that good stuff.

To remove the headlights in the CTS, you have to remove the bumper, which is not hard. The headlights literally plug right into the existing wiring, hence plug and play. Unfortunately, GM is to blame for the poor design on that one...

Called the company today to inquire how 1 headlight design can work for both HID and non-HID setup. Placed on hold for 15min and then hung up. They responded on eBay saying they work with ALL models, just a little skeptical. I like many on here have been waiting a long time for these! Eager to get feedback from those who ordered, I'm ready to try them either way.

How will they work with the current lights that move with the steering wheel..?

The company probably hung up because the replacement lights they sell are non HIDs, which would be considered a downgrade for most. I am positive that these lights won't turn with the steering wheel and after doing some research, the bulbs that come with most of these units need to be replaced due to poor quality/lack of illumination.

Ok. After installing these I am not as happy as I thought I would be. First of all. After doing a more in depth exam of the lights, the inside is pretty cheap. 107303
That is where the bulb goes. I can't even install my hid kit because of the poor design. Gonna have to take it to a shop to customize it. Secondly, the LEDs ARE NOT THE DRLs!! Which is what I was afraid of. They are the driving lights. The low wattage low beam is still the DRL. has anyone figured out which pin is the drl? Maybe I can switch them and somehow make it work. I mean they look cool. Except for the garbage yellow light coming from the headlight. Ugh. I'm used to my hid

Thanks for the update...a daytime pic outside when you're finished would be nice to see.

Do the LEDs just come on with the high beams?

I sent k2 motor an email, because this is just wrong. First they claim the LEDs are the Drls and they are not. Then the condensation issue. It's so much worse now. I've uploaded too much today or something so it won't let me upload more pics. The condensation is covering the entire headlight now. Hopefully they will send me another pair that have been sealed a lot better than these.

Ok. So I contacted k2motor. They are sending me a replacement pair of headlights free of any charge. They cover shipping, and I told them I don't have the original stock headlights so they said they would send out a replacement pair right away and I could return the headlights after I received the new pair. Of course I have the original but I'm not dropping that bumper twice. Rather do it all at once. The customer service was excellent so I would say go ahead and purchase these headlights. And as for the LEDs, they are on whenever the headlights are on. Or just parking lights. The LEDs are not on when the low beam Drls are on for the non hid cars. As for the hid I don't know. But I love them!

I had the OEM Xenon headlights on my all black coupe. As great as the lights were, I always wanted black housings. Since baking them seems like its not an option, I went with these lights. While they present some pros and cons, I was able to get my HID kit to work, and the fitment is solid. They may not be for everyone, but as long as the moisture isn't an issue moving forward, I think the mod is well worth the $300.

Well it looks like these lights just aren't worth it. Two of the LEDs are out on the passenger side headlight. Very disappointing because I get compliments every single time someone sees the car

Unfortunately I have to agree with you. Just got my return label and sending mine back this weekend. Such poor quality, can't justify it on a car so nice. Went back to my Xenon headlights and did the eyebrows with the black plasti dip, turned out really nice.

Didn't want to be negative but I have one LED out on the passenger side. I really loved the look and style o these lights but seems as if they were made poorly.

I realize this is an old thread, but after searching the forum and finding nothing on these lights I bought them. Now I find this thread :(. Oh well, I am wondering if any of you guys replaced the leds? If its not too hard ill do it before I put them in..
thanks

Do yourself a favor and just return them. Total garbage.
