Anyone know of great driver's, i.e. twisty/fun roads in the L.A. area?

Also try some of the canyon roads that run from 101 down to the beach. Malibu Canyon is one.

Also, when I lived out there, I'd use Little Tujunga Canyon Rd in the California foothills off 210. It starts off with a sign that states: 18 miles of curves....great view and challenging roadway.

+1 for little tujunga canyon rd. I usually rent a Vette for a day when I go out there and it's my favorite road to drive on. It's also a popular road for cyclists and there are 100+ft dropoffs, so be careful. Don't forget to bring your GoPro.

A little further south is Route 74 from San Juan Capistrano at I-5 over to Lake Elsinore. Very nice driving road!

Try S. Westlake from the 101 to Pacific Coast Highway.
