I'm looking at buying a '89 Brougham. it might need new window switchesT. hey stick sometimes. are they readily available in aftermarket? is it an expensive repair?vThanks

They are available aftermarket, but I have just always used junkyard switches when my switches wear out (I haven't had to replace any in my caddy though). You might try cleaning the ones you have first (not hard to remove the trim panel to get to them.) It is not an expensive repair. You can do it yourself in probably 15 minutes max if you have a phillips and a flathead screwdriver.

The later model Broughams are very easy to fetch parts for, and there is a TON of them available
