K, so something that is just like this thing showed up in my garage a few days ago. Wifey picked it up somewhere

What kinda soap should I use in there? Just my regular stuff? Cuz I can't imagine just rinsing, spraying soap, and rinsing off- without having to use a sponge or mitt or something anyway, right?

She bought it because she thought it would be like the self spray car washes, but I'm not too sure bout that, ya know...

I guess we'll see

I just used the stuff I had in the garage- some Meguiars Deep Crystal Car Wash. Got her nice and wet (heh) then hosed her down with the soap mix, followed with the sponge, then rinsed.

Worked alright I guess.
Eliminated the bucket is all.

Eh

I sprayed the non-daily ETC as an experiment-

Just rinse - soap - rinse

Didn't turn out too bad at all!
Definitely needs the sponge for quality though

Maybe it's not for washing cars, could it also be for bug spray or weed spray concentrate?, I like it though, I'll look around for one.

Do some snooping through www.autogeek.net for car wash products.

Buckets ??? 5 gallon drywall mud buckets from any construction site. Clean with water and use two - with www.gritguard.com.

It's definitely for washing cars-
It's this exact one here:

I tried googling car wash sprayer soap and such, but it really didn't turn up much. - in the 10 minutes or so I was at it.
That's about my limit using my phone ( the eyes just ain't what they used to be)
I'll check out the above site & do some more lookin at stuff next time I'm on the computer

Thanks!

Sorry if these pictures are the wrong size or something odd.
They usually look fine using the CadillacApp, but that last one looks weird...

I actually use a lawn weed hose sprayer. Works pretty good to apply the soap! I'm so ready for the warm weather here in Kansas so I can get the Bonneville looking sexy again!

Surf through www.autogeek.net

Their detailing DVD has a pretty good section on car soap sprayers.

I have the foam gun from auto geek, it's awesome!! I got a bunch of their stuff, actually.. Grit guards, rinseless and waterless wash stuff, microfibers.. Even my DA buffer, but that's a different conversation..

I'm diggin' it : )

Still just using the regular wash stuff, it was an almost new giant bottle so I still have a bit to go thru. But it's working great - seriously cuts down on the time it takes to wash the car ::thumbsup::

Nope, not one of their members - just a long-time satisfied customer. If I'm a member of any other car-related forum I never mention it or recommend their advice/products. That's a direct conflict of interest - Whether I'm a volunteer or not. Here's a 4 year old pic of a lot of detail stuff - you might recognize some of the brands .................

Pick up your 5-gallon drywall mud buckets from any construction site - they wash out easily and quickly .................. (Or, ask the stocking clerks at a big supermarket to save you a few pickle buckets)

............ and here's another product I use - from a post just before this one - www.gritguard.com (http://www.gritguard.com)
