Drove the 77 (and the DTS, thanks to my big brother :) ) up to Vegas this past weekend for the Las Vegas CLC Region's annual Cadillac Through the Years meet. About 75 cars there, from a 1904 Model A Four Passenger Runabout to a selection of 2013 Cadillac supplied by Findlay Cadillac, a local dealer that supports the Vegas Region CLC. Here's a small selection of the cars, focusing mainly on the 1970s and up, since I know they don't get much play at most car shows. Sorry, Chamus, but no hearses came out to play. :(

1973 Coupe de Ville

1971 Coupe de Ville. It was for sale, and would be a bargain at half the price. :/

1970 Eldorado. Love this in red!

It's the Sta-Puft Marshmallow Car! Actually, it's the best 1973 Sedan de Ville I've ever seen.

When you don't know what else to do with a hooptie 1970 Coupe de Ville, you get...creative. :canttalk:

A couple of the FWD C-cars were there. 1990 Sedan de Ville.

And then there was this:
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa237/cmchally/2013%20Las%20Vegas%20show/075_zpsb5cb4ab6.jpg (http://s197.photobucket.com/user/cmchally/media/2013%20Las%20Vegas%20show/075_zpsb5cb4ab6.jpg.html)
This is a 1989 Fleetwood Sixty Special in Black Sapphire with matching dark blue vinyl top and dark blue leather interior. Except for not having the ElectriClear windshield, it's exactly like the one I used to own. It was for sale for $5200, which was good, since that kept me from acting on impulse and buying it. The owner was a really nice guy, though, and let me (plus three of my buddies and one of their wives) take it for a spin. God, why did I ever sell mine!?

For those of you who've never seen one, this is a 1904 Cadillac.

Not too bad for being 110 years old.

I took this pic of a 2013 XTS with the 1904 in the background, because it reminded me of the 1975 Cadillac ad series that paired new 1975 Cadillacs43 with classic Cadillacs of the 1920s and 1930s.
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa237/cmchally/2013%20Las%20Vegas%20show/033_zps0fb33d1e.jpg (http://s197.photobucket.com/user/cmchally/media/2013%20Las%20Vegas%20show/033_zps0fb33d1e.jpg.html)

This 1960 Sedan de Ville is kinda hokey.
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa237/cmchally/2013%20Las%20Vegas%20show/069_zps9984c061.jpg (http://s197.photobucket.com/user/cmchally/media/2013%20Las%20Vegas%20show/069_zps9984c061.jpg.html)
But it comes with some interesting options.

No matter what, Vegas looks best from behind the wheel of a Cadillac!

Gosh, when I moved to the East Coast fifteen years ago all those '70's and '80's Cadillac were still daily drivers in California!

Sweet! Those are some cool Caddies. The 89 looks really nice. Why did you get rid of it? :duck:

Nice!!

I dig the 79 'vert. It's long and rectangular with a fat rear overhang.

I'd finally finished school and wanted a new car. So, I sold the Fleetwood and bought my Eldo. Still love the Eldo, but I do miss the Fleetwood.

Always liked the 70 Eldorados myself. I like the 71-76 ones too. I guess I should one day own one of each.

I have actually recently considered purchase of an Eldorado...since I am 3,000 miles away from the one I used to drive around Vegas for the time being.

I went on Sunday with my wife and son, I took a few pics too. It looks like a few more cars were on display Saturday! Thanks for the pics, there were some I didn't get to see!
