The ultraview moonroof won't close at 125mph. I pushed the button to close, it got 80% of the way closed and then reversed itself back about halfway. I had to slow down to close it.

That is all. :D

I'm sure that if you go in reverse at that speed the moonroof will close. :stirpot:

There is a sensor in it to make sure fingers don't get crushed. I guess the wind fools the sensor at that speed. It must have been loud in the car.

Did you try it with the windows up or down?

Side windows were up. It could have been a pressure thing too to keep from blowing out my ear drums or something.

Did you levitate in your seat because of the pressure?

I did feel like it was starting to suck me out of the moonroof. Glad Cadillac thought of that contingency.

This is good to know -- when fleeing a post-apocalyptic sandstorm, angry alien cloudlike lifeform, or swarm of small flying monsters, close the moonroof before getting up to speed.

When is Cadillac going to fix this defect? It's this kind of stuff that sours people on American cars....

Yeah, it's enough to keep one from buying another $70,000, 556 hp super sedan. And I'll need a better headliner, too.

Did you just press the button once real quick or press it and hold it. I noticed mine jumps open as well but if I press and hold the button it closes all the way.

Dude, the owner's manual clearly states that the moonroof will not fully close at speeds under 125 mph. That's so you can still stick your head out.
