: Wind Noise from Closed Sunroof

Is that normal?

I just adjusted the glass so it's nearly flush with the sheetmetal (it was ~1/8 inch too low in front before), but the wind noise at 50+ mph is still there. I may experiment with tape over the joint this weekend if the weather cools off. This week, it's finally warmed up here, so the roof's been open for the afternoon commute.

If anyone has eliminated or reduced theirs, I'd appreciate some advice, besides turn up the radio.

My sunroof sits totally flush with roof of the car when it is closed.
No wind noise at all...

That's good to know. I think mine will go a little higher--it isn't quite flush. I was afraid there was noise just from having glass so near my big ears.

Interstate speed limit in Texas is 75MPH... and like most speed limits on the open highway, most people go a little over that.
I don't hear any wind noise around my sunroof AT ALL... at Interstate speeds.
