Here is a picture of the gauge panel I made. I guess a purist might object to adding this but I did it in such a way that I can remove it and put it back to stock. What do you think of it?

The gauges themselves sort of clash with the layout, but that's unavoidable. I really like it. Always hated that Cadillacs were restricted to idiot lights. I hate those things.

Wow! That looks great!

Now I have to run downstairs to see what the stock set-up was!

Hmmm... that's not a bad idea... not at all!

As long as you like it and it works for you, who cares what anyone else thinks? :)

I don't fault Cadillac for not having gauges in the cars. They are supposed to be ultra reliable and engine monitoring is not required. Women wouldn't look at them anyway. In any other car I do appreciate having gauges. Yours look fine and I'm sure the info is handy. I would move the tach redline to 6500 rpm just for bench racing and BSing lol.

Very neat looking job, everything is spaced correctly and nicely finished. If you decide, you can always go back to stock. May not be for everyone, but it works for you and that's all that counts.
