Just looking for opinions on wind defectors for my 09 DTS. I had them on my Dodge, in the channel type and got wind whistle with them. If i hit my washers with the window open, it comes inside. I also like to leave the window open a crack in the rain.

I installed the weathertech several month ago. Since my DTS didn't have a sunroof I needed to be able to roll down the windows some when the summer heat kicks in. At lease now I don't worry when it rains. Sometimes when window goes up on express-up it hits the deflector and the window will automatically reopen. I've try making some adjustment but still have the problem from time to time. Holding the the switch in the up position will override the auto feature and the window will close.

I find that the bottom of the deflector near the mirror keeps working out. Will the trimming correct that problem? Can you furnish a photo of that area, a close up.
