I have a Denali that I drive where I mount my iPad on the dash. I've integrated the entertainment system and monitor emails, etc. So, I want the same capabilities in the Vagon but the cabin is really tight. I tried mounting it to the glass and having it behind the pop up screen but it impedes the peripheral vision pretty badly to the right. As you can see from the photo, I got the DashCommand app and am enjoying the monitoring capabilities. Any ideas on another place to mount it?

I have a similar mount for Dash Command except that I have an iPhone to display the track data. The iPhone is small enough that it doesn't interfere with the view.

How about trying the iPad mini.

I have my iPhone mount on top of the instrument panel to the left and use it for traffic maps and phone purposes. It's just a little small for the Dash Command IMO. I have been thinking about getting a mini and it would be much better. Guess I'll have to give it a whirl. I hope I can find the same kind of mount because it's rock solid.

What third party hardware are you using to send the obdII data to the iPad?

I use a PLX Devices "Kiwi" Wifi for my iPhone.
