Sell it. Buy Sts-v!

you can add turbos or a supercharger

but that gets really expensive ... you should probably look into trading up to the STS-V

To answer your question in Post #4: We're all stuck as-is. Your existing CAI already flows more cool air than the engine can handle at WOT redline - no bling, just function.

If you want to monitor intake air temperature (to verify the "CAI" part of the hype) take a look at a Scangauge-II - www.scangauge.com (http://www.scangauge.com) . IAT plus any 11 other conditions you want to monitor - if your OBD/CAN system supports a particular "gauge".

Read through all the stickys just above this thread, and start wading through the Cadillac Tech Tips in Discussions; Item Specific.

It's a 05-06 V8! This is America. There HAS to be someway to squeeze 75hp out of this motor. They do it on mustang gt's and camaros! Well, that's what typical hotrodding might do. But, there is a big difference in the Camaro pushrod motor. U put on some nice heads and cam and there u go. I am no ford OHC guru so I am not sure what parts are available for it. I think the rwd Sts hotrodding crowd is pretty small.

Even the later longitudinal Northstars have literally no aftermarket for "speed" parts. Bling, maybe - meaningful power mods - nope.

Sure - you can go to forced induction. Pray to your credit card.

I been looking for an sts v but can't find one with low enough miles or the right color I work at a Cadillac dealership so I will just talk to one of my techs or just keep ditching for the right v for me
