I'm excited to say, I just bought my rims today!!! Even thought I'm not going to install then until a drop kit is made which hopefully it's sooner then later. I bought 20's staggered 20x8.5 and 20x9.5. I wanted 20x10 in the back but my wheel guy was saying that I shouldn't do that and pretty much push me to 9.5. What do you guys think? I hear a lot of people saying they don't like the staggered drive of the car.

Also I got my emblems painted black and some little extras. Can't wait to be done and have some pics for you guys. I guarantee it will be something you won't believe. And of course keep the classy ness of Cadillac!:cloud9:

I have an iPad. How can I post pics? Want to show you guys my progress

I'm not a big fan of bigger wheels on a car. I think the 18's on the premium are good for me and there is a fine line between classy and not and that line is different for each person. There are some people I'm sure that will think a set of 22s would be classy on an ATS.

The issue with staggered wheels is the wear. You can't usually rotate them as most Z rated tires are directional which means you go through a lot of rear tires. I know I use too all the time on my S2000 and it can get quite expensive replacing rears every 6 months.

Do u have a link to the wheels?

Stagger affects the handling. Adding stagger to a car that didn't come with stagger will cause understeer, sometimes a lot. If the car was designed with the stagger, the balance will be as designed, such as with the Premium RWD, the only ATS that comes with stagger. The handling balance can be restored with changing the sway bars, to a certain extent.

I anticipate not liking your changes to the car but I'm also anxious to be wrong.

Staggered wont be you handling issue 20" profile tires in the rear will cause you weekly concussions. :)

I don't think your premium has any different set up than my optioned car with FE3 and non staggered set

Car won't look right with 20's. Just my two cents.

You might have jumped he shark with 20s. No sidewall.
Staggered is not an issue for wear. I had 3 SRXs that were staggered and now have a GTO on oil overs staggered and wear is perfect.
