When I found the 72' 500 in the j-yard it had points ignition. Right next to it was a 75' 500 with an hei ignition. I took the older motor and the distibutor from the 75'. I rebuilt the engine and dropped it in a 85 eldo conv. Im concerned about the distributor and the spark timing. Will the engine run or should I have went aftermarket on the ecm. Maybe I should have taken the ecm from the 75' engine too. At this point does anyone have any suggestions? I started to fire it with the 4100 ecm then i thought that cant be right!
