I was disappointed after taking delivery of my 2013 SRX that Cadillac has not continued to provide the feature of Trip Odometer reset to mileage since last ignition on. Several of my GM vehicles over the past several years have had the feature where the reset can be held depressed for 3 seconds and the trip odometer resets to the mileage since the last ignition on. This is very handy when wanting to measure the mileage of a trip and you forget to reset when starting out.
I hope Cadillac logs this as a suggestion for the next CUE update.

As far as I know, a trip odometer has always been manually reset by the user.
I agree with TheCaptain.....Always manual reset!!!!!

Well guys, my 2009 Corvette, my 2005 Buick Terraza, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, 2001 Camaro, and 1999 GMC Envoy all had the memory reset for the trip odometer. Captain is from Canada and GM may not have kept track of kilometers, but if Likely in AZ had a previous non-SRX GM vehicle, it should have had the memory trip odometer. One never knows what nuggets of information will be found when reading the owners manual.
There has to be a way to reset it. If not then you have two odometers. Time to read your manual.

For those doubters out there, here is a page out of the 2007 Buick Terraza owners manual. They refer to it as retroactive trip odometer feature:
