I have seen big builds and low budget builds, I have been wondering if anyone has detailed their build (spreadsheet)?
I was pondering what to do to my car and then budget for the mods, if there was a formulia for a HP daily driver vs a weekend straight line car vs a sometimes weekend road corse daily driver ect.
It would be cool to see the breakdown with parts and cost and results so we could plan all our builds.
It would be intersting to see the brake down.

Good luck... everyone has a different opinion. ...which is fine since there are so many options. But trying to get one answer for each use of the car will be impossible. You're better off telling us what your use will be and a budget.

I am thinking suspension bushings ,trans mounts motor mounts and at the same time add headers and high flow cats through stock exhaust,I feel I have enough power for now it spins the tires in three gears and goes as fast as I want too. After that I will get more traction by wider and different rear wheels to hook up better.
This is a car I drive as a dd but I have to drive to Seattle every two weeks to travel to work. I want a dependable car and Sleeper hot rod that turns heads. in seven more years maybe get crazy and look for 9 second street car who knows.

I've been meaning to put together a complete parts/mod list from suspension to cosmetic for my car.

You have a maggie on there right now dont you Vuser?

On a second note, I was going to give a call today and see about getting together for a small meet but had one to many errands to do today with the easter bit happening.

I have a spreadsheet, but it's not at the point where I'd like to share it. The most cost and time effective mods are always going to be handling-related. In short:

1. Lower the car with higher-rate, linear springs (GC @ $500, d2/K-Sport @ $900, KW V3 @ $2000, or LG @ $3000).
2. Replace the stock sway bars with a stiffer set (Addco @ $400, Hotchkis @ $500).
3. Replace the stock clutch with something better (e.g. F1 Racing LS7 MF kit @ $660, etc).
4. Replace every single bushing and mount in the car with either 80A or 95A poly (about $500).
5. Do all of the shifter linkage mods and add a short shifter (price varies).
6. Get an aggressive street alignment (price varies).

Each and every time you knock one of those off your list, it'll feel like you have a different, better car.

If it was me I would work on changing the fuel system over and getting rid of the magnavolt. It will go far for reliability since you said your driving to seattle all the time!

Also you might want to check the tune since the factory maggie tune is not of the greatest quality. I have compared them side by side with other tunes and I am surprised that with all the resources they have that, that is the best they could come up with.

You'll love the sound once you open it up on the exhaust. I can vouch for the trans insert from revshift also since I just installed one. Made things that much nicer on the shift.

I am going to change all the rear bushings and change sway bars next.
