: The Patriot Missile is Victorious at Chuckwalla

CTS-V Racing is back in New York after a victorious 1st place win in its class at Round 2 of the Cadillac Challenge at Chuckwalla Raceway. It was truly an amazing time spent among fellow CTS enthusiasts on and off track.

After a disheartening breakdown at Round 1, D3 Group is to thank for the Patriot Missile’s full recovery. Lead Engine Builder, Gevork Alexanian, revived the Patriot Missile with a new 408 cid race prepped shortblock w/special porting in all areas of the engine, and restalling torque converter, upgraded rockers, upgraded dual valve springs, ported meiling oil pump, cloyes timing chain, and a D3 custom Camshaft that was newly incorporated into the Patriot Missile moments before Round 2 of the Cadillac Challenge began.

We are extremely thankful for the massive undertaking D3 took upon themselves to repair the Patriot Missile. The anticipation to get the Patriot Missile to the track on time was overwhelming, but D3 Group was undoubtedly able to deliver.

Thank you to James, Tim, Matt, Ro, Greg, Gevork, Peter and Jason at D3. All your time and effort is greatly appreciated and duly noted.

Many thanks to Shawn Church’s tuning of the Patriot Missile to 688 hp @ 688 lb-ft.

Lastly, a thank you to my sidekick, Dex for his assistance and great videography.

CTS-V Racing is proud to now hold the record for Fastest CTS Race Time at Chuckawalla at 2:01.79.
