This car's windows have a really nice bluish tint. Since I was born way after you could be able to spot one of these on the road, I have to wonder, were they already like that back in the day.? If so, did the windows have any coatings or it is just how windows were back then.?

They look great, and distinctive. Kind of the purple tint Rolls-Royce windows get.

Yes, these windows seem totally factory. Cadillac was employing window tint since the 50s, if not earlier.

I used to have a '61 Chevy Impala. It came from the factory with light blue window tint. They called it EZ-EYE glass.

Much appreciated bigm57ict. I have found some very nice vintage ads in flickr for E-Z-EYE Safety Plate glass. ;)
