This is a great time for powerful cars. I can't wait for 2 years when my V is paid off so I can find another toy to add

Ya, who'd have thunk it? lol. Back in the 80's and 90's when I was in the car business and saw so called muscle cars with graphics all over them with V8's lucky to push 145HP I figured by the year 2013 we'd all be riding around in hydroponic pods that ran on vegtibles, lol. I guess I'm just gonna enjoy these times and not worry about practical stuff.

geez you see the tire sizes? this car with an added forced induction kit will be hard to beat. i may be trading the V in. i never thought I'd step back into a "pony car" but this car is the exception.

I owned an 86 IROC Z/28 with the 220HP 5.7L TPI optional vette motor in it. It was pretty fast back in the day. But this new Z/28 sure looks like a monster. Can't wait to see the numbers. I hope GM can bring this in under $45K

Under $45k....hahahahaha....I'm predicting $59k base with only a few options (like air conditioning). This thing with the LS7 motor, carbon ceramic brakes, awesome wheels/tires, weight savings, etc. is not going to be a cheap car. It's very awesome though.

Glad that the LS7 continues on. It would be great in the ATS-V, too, and we wouldn't have to put up with that awful DOD feature. Remember the Cadillac 8-6-4 engine from the mid-80's? Sometimes they would go to 0 cylinders and really save gas. Ha haa!

I had a 1989 IROC Z28 looking forward to meeting one on the tracks

My God is that an awesome car. What a beast. The General may be many things, but it know how to put together a V8 pony car.

Prediction: It will sell like hotcakes unless it's priced like a supercar.

I know I was just fantasizing considering a ZL1 can reach into the $60K range very easily.

Prediction: It will be. I'm banking on upward of 70. Sad if that's the case but I'll bet it'll outrun a ZL-1...with that single speaker radio blasting all the way home.

I also had an 89 IROC. Great car.

So did I but it was a lowly 5.0 TPI car. I loved it though!

I'm thinking there will be a few raised eyebrows when GM releases the 'Ring time for the Z/28. It's safe to say that it will be faster than the ZL1 on a road course... dragstrip might be different story though. It's 1967 all over again!

Nice looking and performing car....I'm sure...but 60k for a Camaro....although the ZL-1 is pretty nice I must say.

Thank God they revised the front and rear fascias. Finally I can get into the rear end look.

I would love to see the LS 7 in the ATS-V. It has always been my favorite GM engine. My other favorite V-8 is the one in my 2008 E90 M3.

Yeah I like this redesign WAY better than the 2014 CTS. I think it's a really solid update.

Now that would be a killer combination. I would bet on that being a ridiculously awesome car to drive, with its relatively light weight and current-gen MRC.
