I what to install this deck but I will like for my onstar to work and steering wheel functions to work. I called pac they told me to get a 0S 1-Bose, but it does not show on there website that it will work with my 02 cadillac escalade. What do people recommend me to do? ANy info on this matter would be great. I have two tv in my headrest unit but would like for my on star two work. Also since the Bose has amps for the speakers will I have two bypass the amp and connect the deck directly to the speakers or does the OS1 prevent this. Please any info ?

hey theres an onstar interface you can buy as well... as far as the steering wheel controls, well you have to wire those up with infared transmitting to the headunit, i know cause i have a kenood KVT-815DVD installed in my car

When I put in my jvc deck , I was putting in amps and subs too.The deck was a direct plugin to the gm harness. For this reason I didnt put the pac 0s-1 interface in and got rid of onstar. They can still track the vehicle, i just cant call them and have them get me tickets to the next t-wolves game.

I think you need the METRA GMOS (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-GrqbWGTFi2o/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=751&id=essential_info&i=120GMOS04)

As for the steering wheel controls you will need the SWI-X adapter that uses infrared. Your new headunit will need to have (or at least support) an infrared remote.
