2006 DTS LUX II

I have been chewing through brake pads ever since I got my DTS 4 years ago. Have any of you found a great brake rotor/pad set-up? When I change the pads and turn the rotors it's great for about 1 month, then the front end shimmy starts again. Anyone try slotted or drilled rotors? HELP!
I wish I could get Brembos like the CTS-V or XTS.

Thanks!

Having lived in bella Napoli for 3 years (from 1967 to 1970) I can understand why a Deville would literally eat brakes alive there....... ciao !

Do a LOT of reading and link hopping in Automotive, U.S., www.ebcbrakes.com (http://www.ebcbrakes.com).

I run the EBC Ultimax Black Dash rotors and Redstuff ceramic pads on the STS - powerful, smooth, quiet, no dust (after hair-raising break-in).

Thanks shipmate. I've been reading all over and it's hard to get through the hype and know what will be the best combo. I'll look into your set-up.

I use Hawks in the front with Raybestos pro grade rotors. In the back I have AC Delco Pro Durastop pads with Raybestos pro grade rotors. Very very happy. If the EBC rotors weren't too expensive I would have slapped those on too.

Whatever your using that's way too soon. I'm about to order some cross drilled rotors because my aftermarket rims. I also want them because of the zinc coating they will not rust as fast. I found the front and rears for 220 shipped off eBay
