I like what I see so far. The back seems a little understated but overall it looks positive.

Loving these shots. Amazing to see Cadillac start to really get some momentum. The ATS moved the brand forward by a huge amount and I think the CTS will be another game/perception changer. So happy to see GM finally (FINALLY!!!!) see the value of this brand and really begin to nurture and grow it. I've been a brand admirer since the first gen STS and only recently leased my first Cadillac (2011 CTS-V coupe) after 5 BMWs in a row. I'll be at the NY Auto Show on Tuesday/Wednesday during industry preview/release days and can't wait for the official intro on the 27th.

Looks better than previous renderings and leaks...waiting for some more photos.

Love that front end. From what I hear no coupe planned for future CTS models.

Looks great so far! Those pictures really make me want to see more (just a few days now)... I would have thought I'd miss the distinctive headlight stack of the current model, but those LEDs look like they'll fill the void nicely.

I wonder if the openings below are functional brake vents, or if they'll still offer a fog light package for that spot. If so, that could look real good.

Hard to tell from those pics, they are from odd angles to throw us off and peak interest . My 1st thought was sorta

GMC TERRAINish on the front . Rear is to hard to tell at this point. Can't wait for the unvail .......

That looks better than the grainy spy pics of a few weeks ago. Looks promising....

Great work from the Cadillac designers! I can't wait to see the whole car! Hopefully some exciting and unique-to-Cadillac interior (and exterior) colors are available!

Sal, is it time to start a heading/category for the next generation? I am loving what I am seeing so far. The official unvealing is on Tuesday night from the New York International Auto Show.

This car may be just the "right size" for many buyers and it will definitely offer better proportions than the XTS (which looks awkward with its "cab forward" dash to front axle dimension) and the ATS is slightly too small for some buyers. These shots reveal just the right amount of boldness of styling, too!

Yum still looks aggressive :)
That last guessing rendition posted a few days ago looked a lot more mellow and bland compared to that

The only thing I dont like is the yellow reflector or light on the side of the front.

The multi color and texture door panel is beautiful though more in line with what I would think a luxury car would or should look like.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I think everyone needs to hold their breath until the official unveiling. The "official" photos you'll notice are not actually official and come from an unnamed source. The viewdew photos are also not what I would consider reliable, for one thing they are clearly showing a CTS=V wagon which unless it has slipped past everybody was not anticipated either or on the CTS or at least in the near future. Further, the "official" photos you'll see are all taken from angles that would make most any car look good. Don't get me wrong, it all looks promising, but I myself will wait for the big reveal when we get 100 photos, not just a few sharp angle scattered ones and possibly, just possibly, artists' renderings.

Those LED lights around the headlights will look as outdated as clear lens taillights in a few years.

First pictures of the WHOLE thing and its awesome looking!!!

----------

It just looks so much better than the 5 series or E class.. So much more style. Looks mean too and now, unlike the last non-V cts.. Goes faster than it looks with its 420hp.. Droool.

I think the whole thing works really well together.. Looks as athletic as a merc amg.. As the base.. The V is gonna be nuts. The rear looks way better in context.

Amazing. Gorgeous. Impactful. Compared to the dumpy current F10 5-Series BMW, this is leagues and worlds beyond.

In regards to BMW and Mercedes, I hope GM is not going too crazy on the MSRP of the upcoming CTS. They need to hit the sweet spot on this one when it comes to pricing. If they place it too close to the F10, they already lost the battle before it actually began.

But for now, I'm optimistic.;)

I agree with you. The pricing has to be right.

Stunning! I may have to give up the size of my SRX for the new CTS. The ATS is too small for me and the XTS too large. Looks like Papa Bear found the right size and styling in this beast.

No impressed with the car. The front end is cool. The back end is looking grandpa style. I will stick with my current CTS. Now the engine is nice, but I can't get over the ugly looks.

I totally agree with this statement. I haven't seen a sedan this beautiful since the E-Class W212 (2009).

From what I see I like it. It seems GM did a good job redesigning the 2nd gen CTS. As other said i am not so sure about the back of the car. Also I am not a big fan of the white LED's that seem to pop up everywhere. However, I may change my opinion once I see the real thing.....
