Hi All

I decided against big lipped 19's and went with a light weight wheel from MSR
weighing in at 21.4lbs in 18"
Rubber around Michelin Super sports:worship:
In
235/40/18
I'm saving 14lbs per corner getting rid of those run flats. I can't believe how heavy they are. Wow.60 lbs of reduced rotational weight is big.

Is there much difference in the ride and/or handling? Does it feel any quicker?

Noticed today my rearend under WOT felt more attached to the road the my old RF tires. ,ride is quieter :).
I'm in Toronto and ambient road temperatures are too cold to push my tires just yet.
Piot Super sports are supposed to be quiet.

Two questions. How much were the rims? What is the width in the rear?

They are $172 each here: http://www.carid.com/msr-wheels/045-black-machined-2059497.html?CAWELAID=1793635375&cagpspn=pla&gclid=CI3S96W6mLYCFSRxQgodSV4ALw I think I've seen them for a bit less. I don't think they come in wider than 8".

It's smart what you did with the tire width. Going up to 235 got you a little more sidewall as well and helped fill in the wheel well better. Only a small difference in the speedo.

I'm sure you'll be glad that you decided on the 18's in the long run. Their aggressive profile sure makes them look bigger than 18's! I wished there would be a way to add a Cadillac center cap or logo to the center....that would make it totally sweet IMHO

Wow the ATS wheels wells really swallowed the 18 more then I thought they would. I'm interested to see how wide of a staggered set up you can do on this car as more people do aftermarket wheels.

How can you argue against lightweight wheels and awesome PSS tires? Great choice!
