Previous owner stated my 05 V was bone stock, although it had Corsa exhaust. He purchased the car new, and from what i understand, it was sold new with Corsa exhaust.

Anyone know if it was an option?

I was told the same when I bought my '05. I know Luke @ Lindsay at one time carried it...making me thing it could be a dealer option.

Yes, the Corsa, and later the Borla were dealer installed options. More importantly, as I understand it, these exhaust systems were included in GM certification under applicable federal standards (DOT and/or EPA). Bottom line is that a V with one of the exhausts is considered "stock" unless otherwise modified.

Seconded. I remember when they were dealer installed options...
