If I got a pair of Opel Omega headlights would they fit on my Catera? If so what year Opel Omega do I look for?

Manny I believe its the same years as the catera, so 97-99 are one set and 00-01 are another. The main difference is the 99's are rounded towards the middle and the 2000's are cornered. If your looking for a euro look I'd recommend retro fitting some regular halogens to projection headlights. By far the best bang for your buck. Back in 2007 I purchased some Eruo headlights for the omega B and they ran me about $600 shipped from germany. Not worth the price IMO. :cool2:

I have a headlight problem too. Everywhere I've looked for replacements, I found the interior parts of the reflector are broken and I've wasted a lot of $ trying to get good replacements. I've found a seller in Latvia, with Opel Omega "projector" headlights for $99 / pair, plus $60 shipping, which I believe will be a proper fit replacement. However, I'm not sure and would hate to blow more money. Problem is, I really need those light assemblies.
Does anyone know for certain that the headlight assemblies will fit, and that the electrical connections are compatible?
I would assume the offered "projector" headlights allow for movement with steering system connections, but would not rotate and would just rest at center without any connections, although having that would be sweet. I am unsure if the " projector" lights actually articulate though, as they do on my wife's CTS. Any comments or advice about this would be appreciated.
My understanding is that the 97-99 Opel Omega parts are interchangeable for most Catera parts, as well as the 2000s up, but not with the earlier year model group.
Mine is a 98, and I can't drive with the lights looking down. I really like this car and I want to keep it.
I've also read someone's thread about putting foam sealant in the headlight housing to stabilize the internal reflector in the correct position. Problem is aiming it correctly while the foam sets up.
Thanks for your advice.

See if you can find a pair of these. TYC part #20-0190-05-2. I found a guy selling a pair in my area today on the site kijiji. He hasn't taken down the ad yet since I just bought them a couple hours ago. So can take a look at them still if u want. http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-auto-parts-tires-other-parts-accessories-NEW-projection-headlights-cadillac-cater-1997-99-W0QQAdIdZ470485072 don't know when ill get around to putting them in
