Hey guys,

I am in the process of up grading suspension, and need some help. I have the Ground Control kit installed on FE4's at the moment, but rears are starting to go out. I've been looking at the D2 Racing Coilovers vs keeping my Ground Control and finding FG2's. What are your guys thoughts. Thanks in advance!

FG2s are increasingly hard to find. That should be a factor.

I ended up just going gc with qa1. Not perfect but not bad.

Well, now I'm torn, just got a call with a guy that has full FG2 set up that he'll sell me with only 20k on them for $350. Almost $500 less then the QA1's and the D2. What you guys think, just go with the FG2's for now, or spend the money and get the others?

i bought a whole new set of fg2 for 600 bucks when i first decided to upgrade. I switched because one blew out after about 30k miles. They don't sell only one, two or three. You will need to buy a whole new set if one goes out , and that is ONLY if you can find them. I personally don't like to buy these types of things used so i wouldn't buy just one used one. That's why i went with qa1. Price and the fact that i can get them rebuilt later at a better cost than buying a new one. Hope this helps.

If he will absolutely guarantee that they will work as new when first installed, yes. But, they won't last forever.

If you do go QA1s, OC Shocks is THE WAY to go...

Those FG2s seem to fail on people way earlier than they should (based on a few threads where people have had issues). In contrast, I've put 115k and 30ish track days on my FE4s. They're obviously past due for replacement now, but still.

Same here. Well, fronts anyway, since the RF FG2 blew. Still running FG2s in the rear. with GC 550/650 and MM spacers.

Im interested in your GC if you decide to sell it.
