I am partial to RWD Cadillacs and have been looking for a '90-92 clean FWB for a year now. I sold my 1992 Brougham with 58K last year because the last owner smoked in it and the smell would not go away (plus it had some nasty burns on the headliner, steering wheel, and seats). The car was immaculate otherwise, but I was just too picky and I made the mistake of buying it without seeing it physically. I sold my 1974 Fleetwood 75 Limo on ebay last week so I finally had room for another Brougham. I had been eying this Brougham for 3 months and luckily it was still available at this time!

It is a 1991 Brougham with the 5.0 liter. Burgundy with gray bottom. It is a 1 owner car, he had all the records and even the sticker price. It was garaged its entire life. The car never saw salt or snow according to him. The paint and chrome on the car is almost perfect. Only the driver's seat shows some minor wear. No dash cracks and the steering wheel is perfect. I might take it to some shows in the Spring. My son and I drove it from Long Island back to Virginia Beach (450 miles) and it performed flawlessly, even in Manhattan traffic. My son did most of the driving and he absolutely loved it. Enough ranting, here are the pics:

And a pic with my ESV Platinum:

And I will throw in this picture of my 1982 Buick Park Avenue, it only has 78,000 original miles. I bought it new for my wife when my second son was born and just couldn't sell it. A true cream puff! You can see the Grill of my old '92 Brougham behind it.

I have some 1991 info I can scan for you if you want. Do you have the specs from the 1991 Brochure?

Thanks Ralph! I have way too many cars, I have 9 at the moment.. I was up to 13 at one point. This was my favorite color combination on the '90-'92 Broughams. What kind of info do you have on the '91s, I appreciate the offer!? I have a dealer brochure, the manuals, and window sticker.

I guess you've seen the spec page from the brochure them, but I'll scan the 1991 "New Car" Consumer Guide. I hope I can get it large enough, and I'll adjust it several times after I initially post it in a few minutes. It shown gas mileage and option packages, etc.

The prices are American....

By any chance do you know if the Brougham uses 1/2 or 7/16 lug nuts?

Those are some nice examples you got, had. Just like with any model that gets discontinued, last years are usually the best. IMO 90-92 are the sweetest ones of them all, love those single lights. What is that gold emblem on the grill of a 92, lower left corner. I keep seeing them every once in a while. Did they put them on 92s only?

Actually those emblems are Cadillac Ownership Medallions which have the number of Cadillacs you have owned engraved on them. I have one sitting around to put on this 1991. Each time you buy a new Cadillac, they give you one with a new number on it. The one on my ESV Platinum says 20, but I have owned more than that. The one on my Sixty Special says 10 and I have another one laying around that is 13. Hope this helps!

But you are right, I wish I could have found a 1992 with this exact color combo and a D'Elegance model. But this one was just so clean and tempting!

Leloz, what color combination was that 92 of yours. I can see it's white, but what is the interior color. I think my wrecked 90 is something similar. It's D'Elegance as well.

My '92 was actually a monotone Firemist Antelope with light beige cloth interior. It was a rare color. I will try to see if I still have a picture of it laying around. The gentleman who bought it drove it from VA to CO. That interior of your parts car is beautiful!

This is not the car I had, but it is the same color:

Do you know anything about those hubcaps, in the last picture? I've had the same ones on my 83, but not sure if they were original. I tried putting them on black aluminum wheels off of that 90 and they just wouldn't fit. Maybe aluminums could only accept "fake" wire hubcaps?

I like that red colour on them especially with the grey door bottoms. My 1991 is the same colour as your old one and I think I saw that picture you posted before. I like how the paint looks different in different light. Sometimes it looks dark, sometimes it looks sort of pink, sometimes it looks like a sand colour and sometimes it even looks silver. I saw a car the same colour here before but it looked a bit darker. Maybe it wasn't firemist.

I believe those are the standard hubcaps that come on the 1990-1992 Broughams. The locking wire hubcaps and wire wheels were optional. Another idea would be to put "ralley" wheels like I have on my '82 Park Avenue, that would be different!

Thanks for the info Fasstwood!

Thanks! I think in '91 and '92 they had a Dark Antelope Firemist. That is probably what you saw.

I am an Engineer but we also have a family business and own a large warehouse (www.shaheenimports.com). The '91 Fleetwood and '82 Park Avenue reside in there. The '93 Sixty Special is in my enclosed trailer at the moment, it is as nice as a former daily driver with 90K could be.. but it is all a matter of opinion ;). My '74 Fleetwood 75 Limo is being picked up tomorrow. The CE T/A and S600 are garaged at home, and the rest stay exposed to the elements. I need a house with 3 or 4 more garages.

THE REAR IS RAISED NICELY AND LOOKS VERY GOOD AT THAT HEIGHT. :D

NOT DRAGGING DOWN THE ROAD, BOTTOMED OUT 2 INCHES FROM THE GROUND, TOTALLY RUINING THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THE BROUGHAM PLATFORM. :banghead:

I FOUND A '96 FWB,MINT, 54K. THE GUY IS ASKING $11,300. (TEMPTING PIE). I DON'T NEED 2 RIDES THOUGH. :crying:
