I know a few of you have these fitted and was hoping one of you would have the time to video the lights on and the various functions I.E turn signal, brakes etc.

I'm looking at the red/clear stock looking ones but I believe they all function the same.

Thanks guys.

Which model of escalade do you have I have the base model and have led taillights and they work great
I also have a few pics and a video of how they look if you want me to email them to you
Mine is the clear lens version with red LEDs

Hi all, I'm new here. Cadillac man, would you be kind enough to e-mail me the video? I'm considering going LED and was wondering if you had any problems with a fast blink after you switched? I've read that adding a resistor solves the problem. Ericoverlie@gmail.com

Email sent the resistor is only needed if you use led bulbs(which I will be using for the front blinkers)

Hi I have the led tail light but the brake light is not working on the passenger side. All the other lights (turn signal/running) work but not the brake light...where can I start looking & if a replacement is necessary can I replace just the bulb or the whole taillight?

Could be connections or bad taillight
Try a regular bulb in each socket and see if it works if yes then the problem is in the taillight if no then the problem is in the truck

I gotta chime in too, which LED tails do you have cadillac man? I have the CG ones and i went and hooked em all up, plugged everything in on the d/s. no illumination on that d/s but stock stuff stayed lit on the p/s. so i swapped in the p/s also and my fuses both blew. Switched em back to stock and the p/s still keeps blowing. I tried flipping connections before the fuses went and all cuz i know LED's can use that, not sure about these ones but i tried anyway. Any thoughts?

Ouch that sucks I will look and see if I can find out the brand mine is and post the link for you as it sounds like you have a bad set

If you can post a pic of them and how they hook up as mine uses the factory lamp sockets and is plug and play

Edit mine are also the cg ones in clear with red LEDs and are plug and play

sorry to thread jack, though it is an old thread. i think ours might be the same, i saw you reply in another LED where someone swapped to the same as mine.

I attached them exactly how CG's website says, remove old housings, pull bulbs. plug new connectors into sockets making sure the green wires go to green and black to black, put it all back together and then re installed the housing. I had no illumination, unfortunately i dont have my volt meter or my test light so i cant check the power going in just in case but i know they drew power at one point since it blew both fuses. unfortunately it was too much power. After i did that i flipped all the wires and no luck again. left them installed the original way with the green to green, black to black. i put them back in for the day in the event CG returns my call.

Sounds like the gray box is bad or the circuit board inside the taillights is bad as they are plug and play and shouldn't blow any of the fuses in the truck
Which fuse did that blow as that indicates a short in the circuit as the fuse protects the wiring from burning up in cases like this

I know mine has three plugs one for tail and turn one for tail and brake and another for the peanut marker light socket

It may be new lights as I don't think the gray box can be removed(haven't tried it)

I hope you can get them to working I know you love the look that's why I went with them with my truck as they go with my trucks look

Im lookign to get led's for my ESV, what do you guys think of the ones that they sell on ebay??
check out the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/330938709721?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_6939wt_1328

so i replaced all my fuses today and gave it another go with them just to see where i was at. I wanted some back up fuses before i started playing. Left turn/Right turn work. Brake lamp illuminates, reverse still works, no constant illumination. thinking its not the resistor packs anymore. i'll test more tomorrow. work starts soon.

sosatyme72 - Spec-D or CG seem to be the brand names that keep popping up as far as i can see. CarID has them and they can be found from various retailers no Newegg. you can also find them on ebay as well. they seem to run about the same everywhere just make sure the place is an authorized retailer that way if you have issues with the product it can be resolved.

Edit - so I checked again on my break at work and found 2 more blown fuses under the hood. Replaced them and were at 100% functionality. Can't figure out why it blew everything out the first time. Its hooked up just as it was at first but now all good. What ever, it works and looks great!!

I would check the junction plate under the right rear fender as it has the wiring for the whole rear of the trucks lighting routed through it

Looks all good, no broken or punctured wires I can find. Maybe I touched it to something the other day. Im not gonna worry about it for now since its all functional

Sounds like the gray boxes are bad and causing the problem since its intermittent

Well I have a new set of them being sent to me so I can replace the old ones from the company. I'll most likely get them after my vaca but the cars sitting for the duration so it won't affect anything

TRUST ME, get a TRIDON LM487 light module for your blinkers and replace the stock one and you won't have any problems with your LED blinkers! I used the TRIDON light module and you don't have to splice into your factory wires or use stupid resistors. No I do not work for TRIDON, I like to pass on info on products I use that work! Take down the plastic piece under the steering wheel (size 7 socket) find the light module which can be hard to pull out. Got mine out by gently prying it out with a screw driver put in new module and BAM, your done! The TRIDON will be a little louder when your blinker is blinking but it helps you not forget to turn it off. Good luck! Enjoy...

The taillights the op is talking about are not led BULBS but full blown tail lights made to plug and play with the factory equipment I know as I have a set in my truck
There are no mods needed or add ons required for them to work he just happened to get a defective set

I haven't heard of eagle eyes brand mostly cg brand(mine at cg brand and work great minus one led being flaky on my drivers side but if more fails I will replace the taillight as I don't want to take risk of getting a ticket)

Eagle Eye sells the tail light that is the same as factory but with Led bulbs. Had them for 2 years and no problems.
