I noticed I had a burnt out brake light bulb. No problem, changed both top bulbs and then realized the other two bulbs were not working. Today I replaced all the bulbs and I only have the top driver side brake light working. All of the tail lamps work, its just the brake lamp that is not. I checked fuses but am scratching my head why only one bulb works for brakes and all work for tail lights. Any thoughts?

Do the center bulbs work as the brakes also or just tail lamps. ( all three on each side have 3157 bulbs)

The bottom tail light. Is it a brake light also or is it just a tail light? There is a 3157 dual filament bulb in there now.

Make sure that the bulb is in the socket correctly. Mine did the same thing. I had to make sure it was all good.

Only the top light is a brake light.

Thanks. I figured only the top was the brake light however the lower does have three wires going into the plug.

the one for the turn signal? if so, it's hazard as well.

I have found the signals in this car is some of the oddest wiring evAR!

No. There are three bulbs ( 4 if you count the 194)per side. both the middle and top are three wire and the bottom (turn signal) is a two wire.
