In about 2 weeks from now ill be rebuilding my ls6 from my 05 V. ill be posting up pictures on the process.
(is there anything i should know of that will make the job a bit easier before taking it out and ripping it apart,or should be prepared for)
(any tips or tricks)
REASON WHY; possibility of a spun rod bearing....
BTW IT WAS WORTH SMASHING ON A 2JZ SUPRA...

Transmission and engine come right out the top pretty easily. Hardest part is un hooking all the connections and moving the engine harness out of the way. Undo the AC compressor from the side of the block and leave it in the engine bay.

Are you rebuilding it back in stock form? If not, then that opens the door to a million pieces of advice.

See attached. I would get a complete Service Manual if I doing that job. (See Helms, Inc.)

This book is worth its weight in gold. Leave the a/c compressor, A/C condenser and the power steering pump in the car.

PISNUOFF is the community product tester. He's broken them, rebuilt them, broken them again. Good luck with your rebuild!
