Installed the Revshift trans bushing today. Nice to say it makes the shifts more precise and accurate.
The trans bushing looked like others i have seen and now this is what it looks like.

Super easy to install, just spray trans mount with WD-40 and get a big flathead screwdriver or prybar.
wedge prybar on driveshaft bolt and pry it in, no problem.

Now the rear diff bushing involved more work. Removal of exhaust helped alot. Followed others instructions and
easy peasy. I even used the OEM kent tool (which is for sale for $45). Here are a couple of picks.

Now here is the bushing i pulled out. once i got the tool on and started after a few turns this just fell out. doesnt look OEM.

The trans mount you replaced looks like a creative steel. Both bushings looked fine. I guess if the trans mount from revshift makes cleaner shifts, nice.

Diff bushing looks like Creative Steel. Do you notice a difference with the RS diff bushing?

diff bushing was loose and i could place back in by hand. it was not good. make a horrific bang when letting off gas in first or second and you can see that it was spinning in place. Now no bang and fun.

little bit better locating revere.

Is this differential bushing what is causing that horrific bang? I had my friend drive car after we were done working on it and it scared the shit out of us. He was shifting fast with clutch and throw and boom. I guess we get used to it knowing how to shift to avoid that. But if this bushing eliminates that .....I'm in.

If the bang came from the front...motor mounts. If it came from the rear, differential mount.

Could also be the stock flex disc that winds up and snaps back under high torque. The cure for it is the revshift guibo.

Hamstar I get that... I have not wanted to mess with it though

So the stock flex disc contributes to the parade clunk? I'm about to do the clutch and pressure plate and want the recently developed clunk gone.

BTW I already have the CS diff bushing and block, RS trans mount, RS cradle mounts and TA mounts going in this weekend, RS motor mounts going in with headers - soon.

Not, not parade clunk. If you haven't experience that rubber-band snap-bang, I would leave the flex disc coupler alone. For me, it only occurs if accelerating hard out of a left turn in low gear when the back wheels slide a little then regain traction.

Hmmm. Occasionally I get a series of surges when in low gear and coming out of a turn. I had assumed this was due to the motor mounts. I don't get any banging noise with this.

when you gas it hard the suddenly let off gas, the loud clunk in back is what this fixed. Nice upgrade.

There are several possibilities, the most likely of which is the front differential bushing.

How is the ride quality now that you've put these two revshift products in? I want to do the same, but I dont want to add any harshness or vibration to the ride.
