: Piston pin

Is pin pressed onto rod bushing end or is it a floating design with c-clips or something on pin ends? 96-97 NS motor.

Snap rings.......... floating pin ............. use new snap rings.

Don't sweat it - If they all felt "springy" and snapped into the piston groove you're good to go - the GM shop manual wants them replaced but I'm not gonna admit how many I have re-used.........

LOL phew! They did feel VERY springy. Had to chase a couple down from failed install. LOL. Did it in the dining room so they were easy to find, if it was out back I would have been SOL.
