View Full Version : Wow! What a difference!
Just replaced the malfunctioning high pressure (secondary) fuel pump on my 2010 SRX. The first thing I noticed was how quiet it was running. The next thing was how easily it rolled. My gas mileage on the way home was amazing. Now I'm kicking myself that I didn't think anything was wrong a year ago. :worship:

Glad you found out the problem.
You gotta look at it from this point of view... better late than never! It is running great now! :)
Thanks Marc. I thought I'd share this in case anyone else was having problems.

The high pressure pump is what makes the DI engines runwithout the 1800psi + they are a dog.

I would like to know too. What did you tell the dealer to get them to change it? Thanks!

Did you have the dealer read the code to pinpoint the problems? What were the problems?
I just saw these posts. My SRX wasn't starting without a lot of grinding. After it started once, no problem after that. Initially I blamed cold weather. The "check engine" light came on. We figured gas wasn't getting into the FIs.
