I got a set on amazon for 50 bucks brand new with bulbs and they work great FYI make sure you aim them after installing them
Also the lens on both the headlights and fog lights are plastic(even the taillights have plastic lens) there hasn't been a glass headlight since the 70's not sure on the fog lights as far as oem goes but I'd say its the same except aftermarket fog lights)

what happend to your originals? Reason i ask is because when I bought my Escalade the lights were there but the lens were straight up missing! I ended up getting a set of "capa certified" ones on Rockauto.com for $50 a peice, and they work great other than the fact one of them had traces of water inside it after a car wash. just a quick bead of clear silicone fixed it. I think originals from Cadillac are somewhere in the range of $70..

I still have the housings on the truck. The lenses have been missing for some time and everything inside the housing is black from dirt and exposure, so I think it would be easiest to get whole new housings and replace altogether.

Try over 100 for one close to 300 for both I got both on amazon for 50 with free shipping and haven't had a problem with water except for a one time at the car wash due to dirt between the bulb and housing

That is how my mom's 02 is odd thing was that one still had the lens but it had a bead of silicone on but it fell off one day when I started the truck

both lens were m.i. a. on my 03 when I got it I tried aftermarket housings (worst mistake ever) they sucked so I looked online and found my set at amazon and I will do the same for my moms 02(I wish gm had the hid low beams on the 02 but that can be a project of mine sometime after I do the air box improvement for the air shock compressor)

Got mine from eBay, they are plastic, cost me 27 bucks free shipping with the braket. I did remove the plastic retainers and put in a screw with a bolt, nice and tight, next are the H.I.D.s. Seller: carpartswholesale, easy and fast as heck.

Stick with the 4300k color as it gives the most light

does 4300k best match the original HID low beams?

Cadillac Man is correct 4300K is the brightest temperature of LED's. I have 6000K LED's in mine and they match the factory HID's almost perfect. If you do a lot of driving on dark roads and such get the 4300K LED's but if you want it to match and are just looking for that, go with the 6000K. I turn mine on at night to match my HID's just for looks. I have never been brighted by other drivers or pulled over for having them on. For me it is just esthetics.

Yes they do

Tx_Lee, google HID colors and 4300K, and you will see it does NOT match the factory HID's what so ever in my opinion. If you need it for lighting like Cadillac Man says by All means get the 4300K! If you want it to match and don't drive on super dark roads etc go with 6000K. I have 6000k fog LED's and will send you a picture to show you they match... 4300K looks like a halogen bulb in my opinion, they are brighter but like I said I matched mine for looks not for brightness. PM me and I will gladly send you a pic of mine on with my low beam HID's and you be the judge.....

The guides online at the hid sites are misleading as the oem bulbs are 4300k they trick you into getting 6000k bulbs as they show it being a white color when in fact it is a bluer color then oem which is 4300k and has a slight yellow tint to the beam
I know as I bought two hid kits with 6000k bulbs where the seller said they was white(they aren't)
The only seller I get my bulbs and hid kits from is here www.kensun.com buy a set of 4300k bulbs from here and you will get true 4300k bulbs same with 6000k bulbs
I also know that factory hids are legal with 4300k bulbs any other is considered illegal by federal law

Also mark take a close look at the lumens ratings of both 4300k and 6000k bulbs and you will see that the 4300k bulbs have more lumens=better lighting(FYI 4300k bulbs color shift up to closer to 5000k as they age)
There is a forum that has a guide to hid bulbs and the colors along with the lumens ratings are listed
6000k has 1300 lumens 4300k has 3200 lumens

I bought a set of fog lights from grill4you about two weeks ago. They were not the right fit. The mount is different and the struts going from the mount to the light is about half an inch too long. All in all the light will mount about an inch lower than the original. I will try to attach a picture for illustration, but this is my first post and it may come out as intended.

The customer service guy at grill4you, Justin, was very apologetic and helpful in the resolution of this issue, but in the end I had to go to another vendor for replacements. They are very easy to take out (3 screws). When I get some more time, I will put together a "how to" post as it seems to be a common problem.

Here is ours with the Kensun 4300k, I would say its a very close match to the HIDs.

Yeah, thats exactly what mine were like. I had to disassemble the factory brackets and attach the new fog lights to the OEM brackets and it was a pretty good fit.

I dont know if its the camera, but yours do not look like my OEM HID low beam headlights. Yours are definitely halogen looking... No white color in those at all...

It could be bad bulbs it can happen(eg manufacturing defect, bad igniter)

after installing, my fog lights are definitely aimed incorrectly. Is there a procedure or an easy way to aim them correctly? I know the long turning bolt is used to either lower or heighten the lights, but after trying to loosen/tighten them all the way on both sides, they are still in 2 different positions all together when looking at them head on.

Sounds like the spring is bad or they are improperly mounted(could be wrong)

Cheap fix.... I bought some plexiglass and cut it to fit the light housing. It looks like OEM fog lights and only costed me 5 bucks. 104196104197104198

They will be useless that way but the plexiglass idea is cool how much does it cost?

The stock hids are 4300k 6000k will have a tint of blue in them and less light output
But led wil be even less in the same comparison

Where did u buy the plexiglass. Recently saw one of my caps fell off lol. Did u use silicone to seal the plexiglas glass. Great idea by the way. My fog light chrome reflective practically new just missing the lens.
