: Lost my XM radio??

I got in my '05 V this morning and went to tune in XM radio and found it missing from the Nav/Radio. I cycle through the "band" button but only have AM and FM1 and FM2 now. I have had XM1 and XM2 from the beginning and have an up to date subscription to XM radio. My V has the iPod interface that uses the XM2 band for playing tunes from a connected iPod. Any ideas on what happened? Any ideas on how to "reboot" the radio/nav system to get my XM back?

...happens probably once every 30 start-ups for me....

I just re-start and I'm gtg....

If you keep pressing buttons...all you do is peel the knobs....too soon? :sneaky:

Happened to me a couple weeks ago. I had to turn off the radio. turn off the car and remove key, open door. Then restarted car and turned on the radio. Bam and it worked

The xm module did not report in upon startup which is why you could not select it. It can happen whether you have paid subscription or not Most time it comes back after a few power cycles or have the xm module in the trunk replaced.
