There already is one in the center console. Alternatively you can get the iSimple audio gateway / upac-STS that will give you more inputs and some basic iPod interface. (iSimple gateway is newer than the upac)

I thought the 08+ didn't have the AV input in the console?

Love it in my 06 though...got me a $3 headphone -> rca adapter and I can rock out to 32GB of iPod goodness.

Got a PAC inline ground loop isolator too to get rid of the annoying high pitched whine that was present at first.

Did the car come with the nav from the factory, or was it a retro fit. I put a stock nav in my 05, but didn't add the wiring, so i do not have the input in the console.

Otherwise it might be a specific option code for it.

Cars with OEM Bose 15.1 should all have it.

What is this ground loop isolator, I sure need one. I hate the whine and noise my mp3 player makes when it's charging

Ground loops are the result of interconnected devices using different grounds. Some devices have power supplies that synthesize the ground internally and introduce interference. It doesn't take much to cause noise.

Pacific Accessories Corporation builds a lot of different special purpose electronic modules for cars & AV systems. There are others.
