The XLR is second in line for my dream cars. Second only to the Enzo. I honestly figure I'll never have that much money or fit in something that small for that matter.

but I wondered if the XLR would give me more room being that its a caddy.... and caddies are known for room.

That was until yesterday. When I stopped at the local caddy dealer and tried to fit in the show room car. These cars are way way way too small for me. When did Cadillac start building small cars?

At 6'9" is it too much to ask for a car manufacturer to make a 2 door sports coup with TONs of HP and TQ for someone other then midgets. I swear there isn't a sports car made right now that I would fit comfortabley into.

Sorry for the rant...but that kinda threw me that I wouldn't fit in a caddy.

catch ya later

I understand your point, Im 6'5 and I lack headroom in my STS. My car is a 95, people have complained that the newer Seville are even smaller!!! I tried to drive a Miata and i could not!!! my feet where UNDER the pedal and i could not get them up!! Maybee the Corvette is a bit roomier???

well im 6' and i fit in Corvettes perfectly. so i dont see why 6'5'' would be any problem. 6'9'' though might be a little big but dont qoute me. my friend has a Vette (his dads actually) and i drive it around alot. his dad is 6'4'' i think and he is 6'3'', so you shouldnt have any problem.

While your talking to cadillac, ask them to put a big glove box in that wasted space in front of the passengers seat and give us some room behind the seats to store a little something.
Does the car below bring tears to your eyes. Build it I'll buy, I'll sell my kids, dog, wife, etc.

Oh I've sat in corvetts... no room what so ever. I'm sure if I'm forced I might be able to get it to go down the road...bu tits just way too small to do anything with. I know what you mean about head room... Most midsized SUV's and some Full sized SUV's don't give me quite enough head room

And I've NEVER gotten anything that had enough head room with a sun roof. The new STS's are a little tight. I remember sitting in one when I was at the dealer. Heck, the new Hummer H2 has NO head room. While its not too bad on leg room, it leaves a bit to be desired.

Also, do you have a picture of the wife? I have a dog and the kid, but I'm in the market for a soul mate. And can I pay in installments? J/k... Although I am single, I would NEVER dream of taking another mans wife. Unless maybe Jessica Alba is married.... THEN I might make and exception.

P.S. OMG THat is one of the HOTTEST Cars I've seen...... I WANT ONE.....I WANT ONE.... but what are the chances I'd be able to fit into that. True its a cadillac, but so is the XLR and the STS and I get no love from those. :bouncy: :bouncy:

Roswell256 / Sorry, but someone 6' 9" complaining that a 2-passenger car measuring 177.7" long and 50.4" high doesn't give him enough head and leg room strikes me as being unreasonable and unrealistic in the extreme.

Having said that, it might just be your particular proportions. I'm 6' 7" tall, and I can fit in my neighbors XLR with with head and legroom to spare.

We might to ask the question: How much does he weigh?

250lb... I'm pretty slender. 36/38" waist. 36" inseam...

I've gained weight since I've been in the Marine Corps. When I enlisted I weighed in at 200lb. and 6'8" I've gained 50lb and an inch.

You obviously have many other advantages to be that tall. Driving sports cars isn't going to be one of them. I would rather be you at a parade in the back row than be me..............It's good to be tall........HU AH! marine and thanks for service to your country.
Happpppppppppppppy New Year.....until next year.

I'm 6'4" and I've had no problem fitting into a Vette. There is a surprising amount of leg room. I did have problem with the XLR though. It wasn't so much the leg room as much as it was looking down at the road. I really couldn't see more then 20 ft ahead of the car without bending down. I love the XLR, but I don't think I'll ever be able to get one because of that.

So you're saying that you have a "thing" for ugly cars. Now if you want a REAL dream car......
