Just made a trip from Vancouver to calgary and back... Caddy ran great but the heater fan would not come on in the defrost mode... can on after a hundred miles and then does not work today...

A pretty cold trip without a heater...

BE MORE DESCRIPTIVE. I'm assuming the car has automatic climate control. What is it doing and not doing? Does it work on air conditioning? Does it only crap out in the heater mode? Is your blower working? Lots of things to check. The ACC system is pretty complex, but there is good info in the shop manuals about fixing problems, don't worry. Check your fuses. There is one in the fusebox that is like 25 amps i think and another inline fuse I think by the ACC black box which is on the passenger side underneath the glovebox. You'll see it, it has a metal potentiometer connected to it as well as a bunch of vacuum lines. The fuse is in a plastic case if it is anything like my 1976 Buick Electra. It should be similar.
