Gibson is well known for smog legal shorty headers - I have not owned one of their exhaust systems but if you like the sound I would vouch for quality and fit!

Bump to the top. I'd also like to know about anyone's results with this system as it's something i'm interested in buying.

I just ordered one from Amazon Warehouse Deals (open box) for $240 w/ free 2 day shipping.

Will update after install. I got the aluminized instead of stainless due to price and dry climate here.

It does have stainless 4" tips. Hoping for no drone or raspy sound.

So I received this part and couldn't figure out how the clamps would work. The new pipes have no flared ends to slip into so it would be butting pipe to pipe. You have to cut the existing pipes just before they pass the rear end. So I called Gibson Performance and had an interesting chat. The guy told me the following:

1.) This part # is only for 2007. Their website is wrong as well as the fitment checker on Amazon.
2.) The part # for 2009 is listed as 316001 and he says that is discontinued and I would need 316002 that would have the flared ends.
3.) He also says they struggled to make the 3.6 sound mean.
4.) They also had multiple issues with cabin noise.

Google search for part number 316002 came up with some odd configurations.

I couldn't send this back for a refund quick enough. Glad I didn't go and cut / weld on my stock exhaust.

I knew it was a gamble for the price, but it looks like I avoided a disaster.

YMMV

I had them (look up a couple of my threads), they suck. Ended up ordering the Magnaflow catback system and custom bent it to fit my AWD 3.6 . But it sounds great and with all my bolt ons and my IPF tune I'm all :) and it get's up and goes.

I have AWD. Magnaflow seems to exclude AWD. How did you get it customized to fit?
Thanks
