There are no shortcuts. First U need to remove the radiator fan shroud from the radiator support and hang it on the fan. Then the radiator, so it does not get damaged. You can then crack the bolts holding the fan to the pump stem. If you have the clutched fan, you can remove this first. Loosen the assesories so the belts will come free. Remove the extention from the pump stem. Last remove the pump from the front cover. Good idea to drop the coolant and flush the system with a neutralizer before you start all this. I covered all this on another post here recently. Search my posts and you will find the explanation there. When you replace the pump it is a good time to replace all the hoses.
