Its a 91 Sedan DeVille {FWD} 4.9L
hello yauowll, :)

I took the Family to see there grandmother on The Lords birthday and while on the way the lac showed the outside temp to be about 31 deg. Well I had the heat on 85 and it wasnt blowing out heat, but cool air. although it wasnt cold inside the car. It wasnt as warm as it should be. I tapped the button once and it went to 90 deg and it began to get too hot. so I tapped the cool button once and it was back to were we started this thread. is there a solution to the problem Im having with my heat.

In case you didnt get the question. Its:

How do I get warm air coming in the car without getting to hot. 90 is to hot but 85 isnt blowing any heat  this is either off using the fresh air while driving, having the heat on economy low level or any auto setting. Im not getting warm unless I set it on 90 and then its too hot.

Maybe a clogged heater core?
