if you check out www.clubb5.com they have a really nice sticker,
I dont like it being a big black box, try making it just the letters, it makes it look nice in my opinion....

Yes, I agree. I wanted a transparent sticker as well. I just don't know if it's an option with Cafe Press.. If it is, then the sticker will be transparent...

I just whipped this together before I got out of the office last night. I was gonna post it but thought it needed the Caddy crest so I held off 'til this morning so I could through a crest in it. It's seriously rough but it gets the idea across. I like the idea of mixing older (read classic) script with the newer to show the "mix" we have here. The "tag" line was just something that popped into my head. If it flies, fine. If not, we can add something else easy enough.

How about "The Cadillac Club of America"? I love the looks of that logo, Kevin.. Great idea.. I think we should go with it...

Plus, I think it will make people think it's two words, not one.

I suggest we put "The Cadillac Club of America" on top, in the classic script Katshot used. Then, put the CadillacForums.com below in a single more modern font.

I think it should be a more modern crest and then the web address beside it. No more than 4" long. Plain color, like silver. No tag line. Simple and effective. :)

Thanks! It came off a 1948-55 Caddy of some sort. There's an old Fleetwood script, too. Just haven't found one yet.

No offense meant, but I would not put a 3x5 sticker on my car. I actually have a guy that does my local club stickers in vinyl. They are actually individual letter cut out and on a tacky sheet used to apply them to the outside of the car. Contact me off list Sal, if you'd like more details. :) Once my internet connection is up at home (down 3 days now! Damn you Comcast!!!), I'll post a pic or two...

Here's a pic I found hosted on line at another site recently... The stickers I had made are the BADASS and UNYISSO ones on my back window. I can do something similar for us here too...

Plus a clear background is hard to install without leaving finger prints.

I would have to agree that a 3x5 sticker is NOT what I want on my car.
Maybe that's just the maximum size.

Hell, I was thinking 1 or 2 inches high by 5 to 10 inches wide.

So like something that you would put along the bottom of the rear window...... i like it!!!

"The Cadillac Enthusiast Club" or something with club, better to be a club then a forum

First of all, we're not a "club", and second of all, I think the main point is to promote the "forum".
Plus, there's A LOT of Cadillac clubs all over the world and by calling ourselves a "club" we're bound to step on SOMEBODY's toes. We don't need to piss anybody off, and we DO need to promote our individuality. Hell, as Sal had pointed out before, we even have to make sure to point out the "S" to make sure nobody confuses us with "******************".

My vote is 4 inches or so long, and however high the proper perspective puts it. Probably less than an inch...

That way it can be put on either the rear window or the quarter windows.
