: Cadillac puddle lights.

They are extremely bright and mount on the underside of the door panel. Should be fairly easy to install as we already have puddle lights so there's a ready power source triggered with the door open. I ordered 2 sets of these, one for each door....thought it would be subtle enough to appear stock, but kinda cool. Here's a set installed on a Mopar.

How about an update of the installation and some pics? Also, how exactly do you remove the inside door panels on a V?

this seems a bit silly to me, illuminating a logo on the floor? Really?

Did this on mine, it's an attention grabber for sure. Here's my write up.

Only too me 2.5 years to install them. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I likes it.

Sweet! How long did it take to install, and would you post pics of the light fixtures? I'd like to see what they look like on the car. Thanks. :)

Mine were the hole drilling kind. Really simple install. Mounts completely flush.

1) Pop the bottom of the door panel. Don't even remove screw.
2) Wedge open with a soda bottle.
3) there's an obvious spot for it to fit about 6 inches behind the stock unit.
4) Clip the connector on the stock unit and strip the wires.
5) Drill the hole and install the light.
6) Connect the wires.
7) Remove soda bottle and put door panel back in place.

Nice! Looks much better, more properly finished, than the ones that attach to the lower edge inside the door. Thanks again, this project is a go. :) Just wish there was one with the V logo.
