hi everybody is there a performance exaust for the (n) motor ?

I have been searching for a performance exhaust system for my '96 Deville w the northstar also. I have struck out everytime. What I am going to end up doing, is to kinda follow what they did to an STS. I was going to look at a hi-flow cat, 2 dynomax mufflers and find a local shop that can mandrel bend and custom weld to convert the 2" pipes to 2.5" all the way back. It sounds really sweet. Assuming all goes well, that Corsa system is going to be the first tweak to my DTS.

Corsa only makes systems for the 2000 and up body style Deville. It's the same with the Seville. 1998 and up, nothing below. If your willing to spend the money, the Corsa system clamps together. You might be able to use the components from it (resonator, mufflers, and tips), and use them in conjunction with a custom pipe setup. You might have to mess with the hangers on the paarts, because they are not going to fit right. It will take a bit of work, but it is possible. Good Luck.

well i think im going to the nearest custom muffler shop and see if they can custom bend me something close, maybe with some flow masters and high flow cats if there is room. thanks everybody :worship:i swear this 99 deville is quicker than my 75 vette hehehe

As much as people like flowmasters for the sound.....(even I do) they are the worst muffler manufacture out there when it comes to actually CFM of air going through at one time.......besides the new delta flows (which still arnt as good) their mufflers still rely on the same company research from 30 yrs ago...

Magnaflow;DynoMax;Corsa;Borla.....all use muffler technology that is pretty recent in times, and the majority flow much better then Flowmasters.
