OK carnut I will try at first light . Even when it starts its a rough short idle, then she dies out'' unless I hold the pedal down.''so can this still be a issue with wiring?.I've only held the pedal down once,,and it was a gunning the motor, once I took foot off she quit..thanks
This reply should have been posted below mine in your original post. Most times this engine dying after start up is a faulty or misadjusted ISC. (idle speed control) mounted on the driver side of the throttle body.
Carnut 82 eldorado with 4100 engine..the throttle body was the main source of my issue.I've taken care of the trouble codes.I just need to slow her idle down...thx for your help I am off to brakes and suspension forum now for my braking problem..hope I did this post rite..
